Two: Advanced Echelon. This is a military term that refers to a forward element, going before the rest of the group, composed of highly trained and specialized personnel. The purpose of an advanced echelon is to establish a foothold in an area in advance of the main force, gather intelligence, provide security, set up, and prepare the way for the arrival and greater mission of the larger team/force.
